"Toothpaste Dispenser" by Girls Unawares

This 3d-work depicts our relationship to hygiene. On one hand hygiene is a daily topic defeating the pandemic and on the other hand we try to break with the picture of a hairless, hidden bleeding and cosmetic-clean body.

Bio: The artist behind “girls-unawares” studied art at HfK in Bremen, Germany and "Principles of Virtual Reality" at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, USA. Since 2008 he`s been working as XR-Developer for different companies. He started the project "girls-unawares" in 2011 as a hobby and it still is. Since then he created around 800 works and keeps going. His main topics are feminism, body- and sexpositivity, transhumanism and fun. Girls-unawares first virtual-reality game "Fleshworld Arcade" is available for free on itch.io and the second game "Deathworld Arcade" will be published soon.
