Nobody’s brain is on fire and the performance smolders before the eyes. Shot for a spread for Interview Magazine in February 2020. The Editors asked me to probe the eery apocalyptic feel that was building up, unbeknownst to us-leading to the Pandemic. Dollhouses are a perennial subject in my work, they represent the layers of the mind and body in toy form, a place to act out inner drives and emotions.
