{a love letter that must have been mistranslated in part} is a video collage of awkwardly translated Sufi Poetry with scribbled-down moody diary entries. With the consent of the printmaker benamitasweer, mzhyff remixed both of their print imageries into mutating colours shying in disguises, blocking the always-too-naked words. In glitches, stutters, failed-to-be-referenced quotations, and mistranslations, the work is attempting to express some feelings it has to the viewer, and it is much more complicated than a statement of ‘love’.
